Eighty Four Mining Company has appealed the issuance by the Department of Environmental Protection of NPDES Permit No. PA0214248 to Eighty Four Mining Company for the Mine 84 Refuse Area located in Somerset Township, Washington County.
A date for the hearing on the appeal has not yet been scheduled.
The appeal is filed with the Environmental Hearing Board (Board) at its office on the Second Floor, Rachel Carson State Office Building, 400 Market Street, P.O. Box 8457, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8457, and may be reviewed by any interested party on request during normal business hours.
