Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P.O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by January 22, 2019. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2018-3001014. Mildred Transit Corp (45 East City Avenue # 382, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, PA 19004) in paratransit service from points in the City and County of Philadelphia to the correctional facilities at SCI Chester and SCI Phoenix, and return. A-2018-3005882. Family First Care, LLC (3939 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia County, Philadelphia, PA 19140) in paratransit service between points in the City and County of Philadelphia.
A-2018-3006169. Anba Bola, LLC (4011 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, Montgomery County, PA 19426) in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Montgomery, Bucks and Delaware, and the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2018-3006423. Bey, Inc. (8125 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19136) in limousine service from points in the Borough of Bensalem, Bucks County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2018-3006532. James L. Gingery, t/a J.G. Transport (30 Mechanic Street, Apartment A, Milroy, Mifflin County, PA 17063) in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, between points in Pennsylvania.
A-2018-3006536. Spaulding Sole Savers, LLC (231 Gary Avenue, Lebanon, Lebanon County, PA 17046) in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lebanon County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
Application of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.
A-2018-3005777. Kenneth Joseph Strauch, t/d/b/a The Limo Guy of Northeast Pennsylvania (121 Hemlock Drive, Clarks Summit, PA 18411) in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle as described under each application.
A-2018-3006523. Ramses R. Kaddis (7132 Falstaff Road, Tobyhanna, Monroe County, PA 18466) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00122261, persons upon call or demand.
A-2018-3006565. Robert Eugene Duffy, Sr. (49 Summer Street, Salunga, Lancaster County, PA 17538) discontinuance of service and cancellation of his certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service.
