Order Rescinding A General Quarantine Order; Virus Control for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Poultry and Poultry Products at Competitions, Shows, Fairs and Exhibitions

Recitals.

 A. Under the authority established in the Domestic Animal Law (3 Pa.C.S.A. §§  2301—2389), and specifi-cally the authority to establish quarantine orders as set forth at section 2329 of the Domestic Animal Law (3 Pa.C.S.A. §§  2329(a) and 2329(d)) and section 1702 of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P.S. § 442), the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (Department), on July 11, 2015, at 45 Pa.B. 3716, established a General Quarantine Order related to poultry and poultry products, including eggs. Said Order pertained to the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show and competitions, shows, fairs and exhibitions within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania which receive funding pursuant to the Pennsylvania Agricultural Fair Act, 3 P.S. § 1501 et seq.

 B. Pursuant to the Order set forth herein, the Department hereby gives notice that the Order set forth at 45 Pa.B. 3716, July 11, 2015, is rescinded.

Order.

 1. The ''General Quarantine Order; Virus Control for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Poultry and Poultry products at Competitions, Shows, Fairs and Exhibitions'' established at 45 Pa.B. 3716, July 11, 2015, is hereby rescinded and all restrictions delineated thereunder are withdrawn.

 2. This Order shall take effect immediately upon publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
