Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by October 21, 2014. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2014-2434084. McIlwain Charters, Inc. (1551 Ferndale Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15905) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, between all points in Pennsylvania; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2014-2438797. Ishfaq Minhas and Shiraz Ahmed Co-Partners t/a Sky King Limo Service (522 West Marshall Street, Apartment D, West Chester, Chester County, PA 19380) persons, in limousine service, from points in Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery Counties, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under the application.

A-2014-2438472. Lifeline Medical Services, Inc. t/a Lifecare Transport (960 Brook Road, Suite #1, Conshohocken, Montgomery County, PA 19428) persons in paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia, which is to be a transfer of all rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-6410694 to Advanced Medical Express Ambulance, LLC, t/a AMEX Ambulance, LLC, subject to the same limitations and conditions. Application of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2014-2436574. Burgit City Taxi, Inc. (565 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, PA 18702) for the amended right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in call or demand service, between points in the City of Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, and points within 15 air miles of the municipal limits of said city. Applications of the following for approval of the additional right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2014-2434077. Nasser Limousine, LLC (4751 Birney Avenue, Moosic, PA 18507) for the additional right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in limousine service, between points, within the Counties of Bradford, Berks, Carbon, Columbia, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan and Susquehanna.

A-2014-2439521. Cranberry Taxi, Inc. t/a Veterans Taxi & Cranberry-X (Sheraton Hotel/Northwest, 910 Sheraton Drive, Mars, PA 16046) for the additional right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Allegheny, Butler, Beaver, Washington, Westmoreland, Fayette, Lawrence, Armstrong and Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
