Availability of the Fiscal Year 2006 Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program State Plan

   The Department of Public Welfare (Department) is making available to the public the 2006 Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program State Plan (State Plan). The State Plan describes how the Department plans to use block grant funds provided under the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Act, Title XXVI of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981 (Pub. L. No. 97-35) (42 U.S.C.A. §§ 8621--8629), during the 2005-06 program year.

   Copies of the State Plan are available for interested individuals and groups at county assistance offices or upon written request to Donna Roe, Acting Director, Division of Federal Programs and Program Management, Department of Public Welfare, Complex No. 2, Room 224, Willow Oak Building No. 42, Harrisburg, PA 17105.

   Persons with a disability who require an auxiliary aid or service may submit comments using the AT&T Relay Services at (800) 654-5984 (TDD users) or (800) 654-5988 (voice users).
